Our Story
This firm’s story is my story. I experienced a transformative moment as a teenager that ultimately led to the formation of HM Westbrook.
Personal injury law is a field that requires passion, determination and unyielding commitment. It’s a challenging area of law, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. For me, our founding partner, personal injury law is more than just a profession – it’s a calling. It’s something that I’m incredibly passionate about, and my dedication to seeking justice for my clients is unparalleled.
So, what led to my becoming so fiercely dedicated to personal injury law? It all started with a transformative moment that changed everything.
Here’s my story…
From Tragedy to Triumph: How One Accident Changed Everything
My story begins with tragedy – in fact, it was a devastating accident that ultimately led me to pursue a career in personal injury law. When I was just a teenager, my best friend and I were involved in a serious car accident. We were driving home from a baseball game when another driver ran a red light and collided with us.
The accident was incredibly traumatic – my best friend was killed instantly. I was lucky, though I suffered significant injuries. It was a life-changing event that left me with both physical and emotional scars that would last a lifetime.
Despite the tragedy, our founder was determined to turn his pain into something positive. He wanted to ensure that no one else would have to go through what he did – that no family would have to suffer the way his best friend’s family did. That’s when he decided to pursue a career in law, specifically in personal injury law.
I wanted to help people who had been through similar experiences – people who had been injured or had lost loved ones due to someone else’s negligence. I wanted to use my experience and my passion to seek justice for those who had been wronged.
The Birth of a Passion: My Unwavering Commitment to Seeking Justice
After graduating from law school, I began working for a personal injury law firm. It was there that I discovered my true passion – I loved the work, and I felt that I was making a real difference in people’s lives. I worked tirelessly on behalf of my clients, fighting hard to ensure that they received the justice they deserved.
Over the years, my dedication to personal injury law only grew stronger. I became increasingly invested in my clients’ cases and began to see the work as a way of making the world a better place. I saw the law as a tool for justice – a way of righting wrongs and holding people accountable for their actions.
Personal injury law became more than just a career – it became a true calling. I realized that the work i was doing was important and I was passionate about using my skills and experience to help others.
Fighting for the Underdog: The Driving Force Behind Our Firm’s Success
Today, I’m the founding partner, along with my wife Marlene of my own personal injury law firm, HM Westbrook, LLP. Together, we’ve built a team of dedicated attorneys and staff who share my passion for seeking justice on behalf of those who have been wronged. Together, they’ve built a reputation for success – not just in terms of the outcomes of their cases, but in the compassion and dedication they bring to their work.
One of the keys to our firm’s success is our unwavering commitment to the underdog. We believe that everyone deserves a fair shake, regardless of their background or their standing in society. We fight hard for our clients, and we’re willing to go to bat for them – even if it means taking on large corporations or powerful individuals.
My transformative moment may have been a tragic one, but it ultimately led to something positive – a career dedicated to making a difference, one case at a time.
